First race in our six-race series is tonight at TNHS. Sign-ups open at 5:30 and the first race is at 6. Our course is located right beside the tennis courts in the THS Athletic Complex.
Linked into this post is our Popsicle Race Waiver. Parents and coaches can save themselves a couple of minutes by printing one out and having it filled out ahead of time.
Concerning the weather - we will try our darndest to host every race. Light to moderate rain is just part of cross country. Lightning however will cause us to cancel. I will communicate as quickly as I can though this blog, with our area coaches and through social media. Inevitably, when you jump the gun and cancel - the sun comes out. Or, when you try to tough it out, and go ahead as scheduled - you get caught in a hail storm. Please understand that the safety of the children is paramount, and we will make every decision based on the protocol put in place by the Nelson Co. Schools and the KHSAA.
